Richard Gerstberger is the principal consultant at TAP Resource Consulting, where he combines his passion for leadership with over 35 years of rich experience in the municipal and utility sectors. Throughout his career, he’s held roles like Director of Utility Operations and Public Works Director, and even served as Deputy City Manager, shaping communities and enhancing services.

Beyond his hands-on work, Richard has also shared his expertise as a project manager for the Water Research Foundation and as an educator in management and organizational development at the university level. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University and an MBA from Colorado State University. Richard’s journey is fueled by a commitment to making a positive impact, and he thrives on helping organizations unlock their full potential.
